Welcome to Trumpet Farm, located in beautiful west Michigan. My name is Linda  Ransom, and I collect model horses. Mostly Breyers, but I also have Schleichs, Stones, CollectAs, and Hartlands. This website is for model horse pedigree purposes, and these are model horses, not real ones. While the horses listed here are written about as if they were real, I can assure you, they are not. I don't have the pasture or barn space for this many horses :-) I do own a real Missouri Foxtrotter pony, and my daughter has a nineteen year old registered Haflinger mare.

If you are interested in using my model horses for pedigreeing, please note the following:
1. I do allow crossbreeding, particularly for sport horses/ponies, and Part-bred Arabians.
2. Some breeds have very specific naming rules, so please follow these when naming your foal.
3. Your foal's color and/or pattern should be realistic in regards to the sire/dam you have chosen. IE, two black tobianos will not produce a chestnut frame overo. If you aren't sure, please either ask for help, or use the equine coat calculator (which is what I use):  http://www.animalgenetics.us/Equine/CCalculator1.asp

When sending your foal's information, please include the following:
1. Name of foal
2. Breed
3. Gender
4. Color and pattern (if applicable)
5. Make and mold
6. Requested sire
7. Requested dam
8. Year you would like [I will try to keep my mares' years updated, but in case there is a conflict, please include a couple of years, and I will give you the first one available].
9. Your name/farm name (if you have one) and email

You will receive a pedigree certificate that you may print out for your records.

This is Blackjack, AKA Mr. BJ, BJ, and Black Bart. He will 18 years young in November this year. He is a Missouri Foxtrotter pony, and he does gait, as well as trot. He is snarky, he nips when bored, and he's the best trail horse I've ever had.
