We are very big TWH fans here at Trumpet Farm - gaited horse/pony fans all around, actually. We breed for a Walking Horse you could show, but also one you could do a lot of trail riding with. We definitely prefer naturally-gaited horses and ponies here! While our horses do have champion bloodlines, we do not, nor have we ever, condoned the so-called "Big Lick" way of going for TWHS.
STALLIONS
Champagne Moon (Champagne Look *R x Mark’s Moonstone *R). 1993 chestnut (greying) Tennessee Walking Horse stallion. Moon is one of our oldest horses on the farm, and one of our TWH foundation sires. His breeding was arranged by Jennifer Tomey/Blackfoot Stables, and he currently shows in IMEHA and IPABRA. Moon is an OF Breyer Traditional Midnight Sun "Blackberry Frost."

Major Victory (Phantasmic x Lady Macbeth). 2002 black Tennessee Walking Horse stallion. Major is a really nice horse, with a beautiful running walk and a kind nature. Plus, it doesn't hurt that he's tall, dark, and handsome! He is named after a "character" on the old Stan Lee show, Who Wants to be a Super Hero? - "Major Victory" was the code name for one of the guys on the first season, and we just loved him! Major shows in IMEHA. He was bred by Holly Buck/Rivendell Acres, and he's an OF Breyer Traditional Midnight Sun.
FFC: 2006 – LFC: 2020.
Fun fact: This guy was another model I had always wanted as a kid and was never able to procure. I found this fella on eBay.

Bandit's High Bell (Alens Belfast Bandit *R x Generators High Esteem *R). 1995 sorrel tobiano Tennessee Walking Horse mare. Bell is one of our foundation mares for our TWH herd, and because she is a throw-back to the stockier build of the old bloodline TWHs, we show her in the ring as a Spotted Saddle Horse. She's done very well, too. She currently shows in IMEHA. Her breeding was arranged by us, and she's just a lovely mare. Bell loves trail riding more than anything else, and she's super comfortable to ride. She is a CM etched Breyer SM G1 Morgan Stallion [by Jennifer Tomey].

Fun fact: My first pony was not, in fact, a palomino, but a very spirited chestnut tobiano Welsh cross mare named Tonka, whom I renamed Misty after one of my favorite horse books. I had many adventures with Misty, including getting bucked off every time I asked her to canter, until I got old enough to make her behave (I was ten when I received her). From there I graduated to a Morgan mare, an Appaloosa gelding, and a few others, culminating in my current Missouri Foxtrotter pony gelding. None of them have been palomino.
